YWAM Montana | Lakeside has been an industry leading missionary training campus since its inception in 1985. Sending out over 5,000 short term missionaries in the last 40 years, we have learned a lot about what it takes to train, send and sustain missionaries in our local communities and the nations!

One of the most important lessons in training and discipleship? It starts with the first call. Discipleship doesn’t start when students arrive at our campus, it starts at the first point of connection, the first phone call, text or email. Everything in our lives disciple those around us. The way that we connect, communicate and champion young Christians sets the course for their entire time with us.

Andrew has been working in the Admissions Department at YWAM Montana | Lakeside since 2021 and became the Director of Admissions in 2024. Overseeing the marketing, recruitment and admission for all courses, Andrew and his team connect with over two thousand individuals a year!

We are honored to be one of the first points of introduction to global missions for our future students. We get the pleasure of sharing testimonies, helping with fundraising tips, and preparation in coming to YWAM. Due to our campuses high standard for Admissions staff and communication, we have one of the highest retention rates in the nation. When our future students inquire to learn more, they don’t just get a curated response, they get a personal, human connection with the staff team that Andrew leads. That personal connection makes all the difference, and will continue to be the bedrock of our teams vision as we look to grow in the coming years
